“We either make ourselves happy or miserable. The amount of work is the same.” - Carlos Castaneda
“So what?!” I say! “So what?! So what?! So what?!” I say to you!
Now before you go suggesting that I may appear to harboring a bit of anger let me say this – there is nothing wrong with getting pissed off once in a while. As a matter of fact, I recommend it.
“Why?” Well I am glad you asked.
Because if you’re not disturbed with what’s going on in your life, and I mean seriously disturbed, you won’t begin to utilize that frustration from being disturbed to create drive and drive is your friend. ‘Nuff said on that.
Now as I write this, the Congress and the Senate of the United States of America have taken a break from investigating the “abuse” of steroids in baseball to address the impending economic crisis here in the Land of the Free, Home of the Brave.
Let’s just say that I am not exactly brimming with confidence at the prospect of the dimwits that created and exacerbated the problem are on the job to fix it.
People are beside themselves (is that possible?) with this “Corporate Bailout” thingy that’s being kicked around on Capitol Hill right now. The Jackasses and the Heffalumps are using this as a political football to motivate their respective troops.
So what does it all mean? Not a damn thing.
Yesterday I invested nearly three hours of my day on the phone with a man that was discussing just what “the economy” is and what an individual can do to focus on his or her own “personal economy.”
What a concept?! You have your own personal economy and by focusing on YOUR economy you can have an impact on YOUR family and YOUR life. This enables you to advance toward your goals and dreams.
Anytime that someone says, “What about the $700 Billion blah blah blah?” you say, “So what?!”
If they bring up the Donkees vs the Dumbos…..that’s right – “So what?”
“And those dadgum illegals are crossing the border for the good jobs…..” You guessed it – “So what?!”
Gas prices, Liberal vs Conservative, Global Warming, Hollywood, Political Pundits and the Designated Hitter……..SO WHAT?!
So if you want to begin making changes in your life and you want those changes to begin now, it’s ok to get a bit disturbed!
Until next time put everything you have into everything you do.
The best is yet to come!
